The Diocesan Youth Commission in conjunction with Kilmore Youth Ministry commits itself to the welfare of all the young people of the diocese. It recognises and values the uniqueness and dignity of each young person. It cherishes their unique gifts in the service of the whole community. It desires to share the good news of the gospels and the liberating person of Jesus for young people, especially those on the margins of society. It acknowledges the different life circumstances and situation of young people. It promotes total development - spiritual, personal and social of each young person.
This ministry to young people is entrusted to the local community.
